Indian Railways and IRCTC have announced Bharat Gaurav Yatra train to visit 7 Jyotirlingas in the month of Saavan under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and Dekho Apna Desh. Indian Railways often helps its passengers to travel within the country and abroad at low cost.
To promote tourism in the country and on the theme of know your country, the railway is operating Bharat Gaurav tourist trains. In this series, now the railway has come up with an opportunity to visit 7 Jyotirlingas. Passengers will be given darshan of Jyotirlingas in the month of Sawan. For this, IRCTC has started booking rail tour packages. In this railway journey, devotees will be given darshan of 7 Jyotirlingas. This railway tour will start from August 20. This tour package is for 9 nights and 10 days.
These facilities will be available in the tour package
This journey will start from Rajkot. In the 7 Jyotirlinga Yatra program, Mahakaleshwar Darshan, Omkareshwar, Trimbakeshwar, Bhimashankar, Ghrishneshwar, Parli Vaijnath, Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga Darshan will be provided. Let us tell you that IRCTC is committed to providing comfortable journey to its passengers. Infotainment system has been provided in the train to provide entertainment and travel related information to the passengers.
At the same time, security guards and CCTV cameras will also be available in every coach for security. In the price of this tour package, IRCTC passengers will get facilities like train travel, delicious vegetarian food at their seat from a modern kitchen car, sightseeing by bus, hotel accommodation, guide and accident insurance etc.
The train will pass through these routes
In this 09 nights-10 days journey, passengers will be able to board and disembark from 12 stations including Rajkot. This train with a capacity of 700 passengers will have 7 sleeper coaches, 3 third AC, one second class AC coach. The tour package includes train travel as well as on-seat meals, bus travel, hotel accommodation, guide and accident insurance.
The Jyotirlinga Yatra will be of 9 nights and 10 days. The tour will start from 20 August 2024. On August 20, “07 Jyotirlinga Yatra” will depart from Rajkot under Bharat Gaurav Train. In this 09 nights / 10 days journey, passengers can board the train from Rajkot, Surendranagar - Viramgam - Chandlodia - Nadiad - Anand - Chhayapuri (Vadodara) - Godhra - Dahod - Meghnagar - Ratlam - Nagda.
How to book
There are three categories of travel in this tour package, wherein the rates have been fixed for Standard Class (Sleeper) Rs. 20,900/-, Comfort Class -3AC Rs. 34,500/- and Superior Class- 2AC Rs. 48,900/-. IRCTC is also providing LTC facility in this journey. Booking of this tour package launched by IRCTC has started. Apart from this, “Book package by EMI” facility is available only for online booking.

An infotainment system has also been installed in the Shravan Special train to be launched by IRCTC to provide information about Bhajan Kirtan and travel to the passengers.
