LPG cylinder prices
It is often seen that on the first day of every month, the government changes the price of LPG. Prices vary from commercial gas cylinders to domestic cooking gas cylinders. In such a case, a change can be seen in the price of LPG cylinders this time too. Last month, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder increased by Rs 8.50, while in July, the price decreased by Rs 30.
ATF and CNG-PNG prices
Along with LPG cylinder prices, oil marketing companies also vary the prices of Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG. That is, on September 1, there may be a change in the price of this too.
Rule related to fake call
Fake calls and messages can be curbed from September 1. TRAI has directed telecom companies to curb fake calls and fake messages. TRAI has announced strict guidelines for this. TRAI has asked telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL to shift telemarketing calls and commercial messaging starting from 140 mobile number series to blockchain-based DLT i.e. Distributed Ledger Technology platform by September 30. It is expected that fake calls will be curbed from September 1.
Credit card related rule
From September 1, HDFC Bank is going to cap the reward points on utility transactions, under which customers will only be able to earn up to 2,000 points per month on these transactions. HDFC Bank will not give any rewards on making educational payments through third party apps. IDFC First Bank will reduce the minimum amount payable on credit cards from September 2024. The payment date will also be reduced from 18 to 15 days. Also, from September 1, 2024, customers using RuPay credit cards for payments on UPI and other platforms will get the same reward points as those using credit cards of other payment service providers.
Dearness Allowance
The central government is likely to make a big announcement for government employees in September. It is expected that the government may increase the dearness allowance for employees by 3 percent. At present government employees are given 50 per cent Dearness Allowance (DA), while after the 3 per cent hike it will go up to 53 per cent.

Free Aadhaar Card Update
The last date for updating Aadhaar card for free has been fixed on September 14. After this you will not be able to update some Aadhaar linked items for free. After September 14, a fee will be payable for updating Aadhaar. However, earlier the last date for free Aadhaar update was 14 June 2024, which has been extended to 14 September 2024.
