The statue is installed in Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple, Sugar Land, Texas. The
thinker behind this historic planning is Shri Chinnajir Swamiji. The statue
commemorates Lord Hanumanji's important role in helping Lord Rama and Mother
Sita unite.

The Statue of Union website claims that this statue is the tallest statue of
Lord Hanuman in North America. Known for strength, devotion and selfless

their own reactions and glorified Lord Hanuman. A 25-foot-tall statue of Lord
Hanuman was installed in 2020, brought from Warangal, India, according to a

Why was this statue named Statue of Union? When mother Sita was abducted by
Ravana, Lord Rama sent the entire monkey army to search for her in all
directions. Lord Hanuman then reached the tip of India i.e. Rameswaram and
from there he went to Lanka. He returned after meeting Mother Sita and
informed the Lord about her and then the Lord attacked Lanka and killed
Ravana. Lord Hanuman has a great contribution in getting Lord Rama and Mother
Sita. This is why this statue has been named the Statue of Union.

According to the Statue of Union website, this statue of Lord Hanuman is the
largest statue in North America. Which has been established as a symbol of
power, devotion and selfless service. "This is an opportunity for us, as a
community, to pave the way for future generations to receive the divine
blessings of Lord Hanuman," the website said. Along with this, this idol is
also shown as a symbol of community unity.
It is also to be noted that earlier a 25 feet high statue of Lord Hanuman was
installed in Delaware, America. The idol was sent from Telangana, India.
People from the Hindu community living in large numbers in America have
unveiled this idol. Grand programs were also organized at the time of
Pranapratistha ceremony. Along with Indian people, Native Americans also
participated in the Pranapratistha ceremony of Lord Hanuman.
