Now only a few hours are left for the results of the Lok Sabha elections to
come. Then the preparations for counting of votes are being finalized. The
Election Commission has also finalized all the
preparations. Preparations are
going on for the result. At that time, the results of all the seats in the
whole of Gujarat are being finalized. Chief Electoral Officer P. Bharti has
given information about the counting of votes. Counting of votes will start
tomorrow at 8 am at 26 counting centers in the state for the Lok Sabha General
Election-2024 and Gujarat Assembly by-elections.
All necessary preparations have been completed at 26 counting centers in the
state. 56 counting supervisors, 30 election officers and 175 assistant
election officers will be on duty during the entire counting process. Apart
from this, 615 additional assistant election officers have been assigned the
responsibility for postal ballots and ETPBS. All the observers have reached
their duty place.
The first and second randomization of counting personnel has been completed,
while the third randomization will be done tomorrow at 5 am in the presence of
observers. Only officials, observers, on-duty staff-officials, candidates,
their election agents and counting agents authorised by the Election
Commission of India will be allowed to enter the counting centres. Apart from
this, only those media persons who have been given the right letter by the
Election Commission of India will be allowed entry.

The strong room will be opened tomorrow morning in the presence of RO or ARO,
candidates or their authorised representatives and observers appointed by the
ECI. Then the EVMs and postal ballots will be taken out and brought to the
counting hall and the counting of votes will begin.
A three-tier security system has been ensured at all counting centres. Strict
deployment of local police, SRPF and CAPF has been made at the counting venue
outside the gates of the counting centre and the strongroom. No person other
than the officials on duty, candidate, election agent of the candidate and
counting agent will be allowed to enter the premises.
Other electronic devices such as mobile, tablet or laptop cannot be taken to
the counting centre except the Commission's observers. RO, ARO or counting
observer can carry mobile in the counting centre with prior permission
required for the counting process. Mobile phones cannot be used anywhere in
the counting centre premises except in the media centre and public
communication room set up at each counting centre.
Election results can be accessed on https://results.eci.gov.in/ and Voter
Helpline App on the counting day. A media centre has been set up in the
committee room on the fourth floor of Block No. 1 of the new secretariat to
enable state-level media personnel to get information on the results.
