Crushed 2 to 3 grams of poppy seed with sugar and honey or sugar and ghee at bedtime improves sleep.

Yoga exercise not only helps in keeping you healthy but also helps you sleep well at night. By doing yoga, you connect with every part of the body through breathing. It relieves insomnia, stress and restlessness. And other problems related to sleep are eliminated.

Ashwagandha is a medicinal herb. It is used to cure many diseases. Antioxidants in it help in relieving stress, anxiety and ailments like arthritis. Drinking this tea also improves sleep.

Before going to bed, washing hands and feet with cold water and applying oil to the head induces sleep. Or taking a quarter of nutmeg with water induces sleep. Taking peppermint powder and rubbing it on the feet gives good sleep. Eating powdered jaggery with jaggery and drinking warm milk on top induces sleep.
