Toll Tax Discount: Home Near Toll Plaza

The National Highway Authority also provides you with the facility of exemption from toll tax. If your home is near a toll plaza, a monthly pass is required to pass through. Toll tax pass rates vary depending on location.

Talking about Gharunda, Karnal Toll Plaza, if your house falls within 10 km area of the toll plaza then you will be issued a monthly pass of Rs 150. If the distance from the house is up to 20 km, then the monthly pass can cost Rs 300.

1. First of all you have to open PhonePe app. If you don't have the app, you need to go to an Android smartphone or iPhone and download it first from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

2. Going to homepage, you have to see See all option in Recharge and Pay Bills section

3. After this you have to click on Fastag recharge option which you will find in recharge section

4. Now you have to find the FASTag issuing bank

5. After this, you have to enter the name of the bank and the vehicle registration number of your vehicle.

After that, you have to click on OK button. By going here, you will get every information about your Fastag account, including account holder name and Fastag balance.

7. After this you have to re-verify your account number and name. After this, you can enter the amount you want to recharge.

8. After this you have to select your bank and then add new bank account details

9. Now you have to click on Pay Bill option

10. Finally you need to enter your UPI PIN to complete the recharge.

11. Once FASTag is recharged you will get an SMS. This SMS will come from your bank on your registered mobile number.
